Mobile acupuncture means a licensed acupuncturist comes to you – home, office, or other preferred locations. This makes it incredibly convenient for busy schedules or mobility issues. Beyond convenience, receiving acupuncture in your own environment offers key benefits, including reduced stress and enhanced relaxation, greater comfort and privacy, and easier post-treatment rest.
Acupuncture can treat a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to chronic pain, stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, digestive issues, migraines, and certain types of injuries.
Yes, when performed by a licensed and experienced practitioner, acupuncture is safe. Sterile, single-use needles are used to ensure cleanliness and reduce the risk of infection.
Sessions typically last between 45 to 60 minutes, but the duration can vary based on the treatment plan and individual needs.
It's recommended to wear loose, comfortable clothing and ensure there is a quiet, clean space for the session. It's also advised to avoid eating a large meal right before your appointment.
The number of sessions varies depending on the individual's condition and response to treatment. The initial exam takes place on the first appointment and your acupuncturist will give you a better idea of how many treatments and how often treatment is recommended based on your specific condition and exam.
Some people experience relief after just one session, while others may require multiple sessions to see improvement.
Most people feel minimal discomfort during acupuncture. Upon needle insertion, you may feel a brief, sharp sensation, but this typically subsides quickly. Many find the treatment to be deeply relaxing.
Yes, acupuncture can complement other treatments. Discussing your current treatments with the acupuncturist is important to ensure the best care plan.
