How Much Does In-Home Acupuncture Cost?

At California Mobile Acupuncture, we believe pricing should never feel like a mystery. When you invest in your health, you deserve to understand what you pay for: quality care, value, comfort, and long-term results.

Our pricing guide gives you full transparency - not just numbers, but REAL VALUE.

We hand-select only the most qualified, licensed acupuncturists, based on:

  • Extensive clinical experience
  • Specialized training in fertility, cosmetic, pain, neurological rehab, etc.)

Our Tools

We use premium needles and supplies, and follow strict clean-needle-technique protocols to ensure your safety and comfort.

What Drives Cost Up & Why That Means Better Value

Factor What It Means for You
Experience & Credentials
More advanced training and specialization (fertility, stroke/TBI, etc.) mean better outcomes for you
Length of Session
Longer sessions allow for deeper assessments, personalized treatments, and lasting results
Customized, Holistic Care
Treating the complete system (hormones, sleep, digestion, stress) leads to long-term wellness - not just temporary symptom relief
Quality of Materials & Modalities
Premium tools and multiple therapy options (moxa, cupping, e-stim) improve comfort and accelerate results
Convenience & Location (In-Home or On-Site)
Saves you time, eliminates travel/parking stress, and provides care where you already are
Continuity & Case Management
We coordinate with your other providers, track your progress, and plan treatment over time

What Often Drives Cost Down & What You Risk

Some lower-priced acupuncture providers or clinics rely on shortcuts that can compromise depth and results. You may save money up front, but often at the cost of personalization, well-rounded care, and lasting results.

Here’s a quick look at what lower cost really means.

Cost Reducer What It Means for the Patient
Short sessions (10–20 min slots)
Less time means less personalization and fewer modalities used.
Limited Insurance Reimbursement
Insurance pays very little per patient and forces faster patient turnover.
Basic Materials
Cheaper needles/supplies mean less comfort and lower-quality treatment.
No Customization
The focus is on the immediate complaint, with minimal follow-up and continuity of care.

How Price Matches The Value Offered

We made a deliberate decision to prioritize quality and outcomes over patient volume. Your time is valuable, and your health is priceless.

Tier Typical Setting Price (per session) What You Receive
Low Tier
Community / Insurance Clinic
$40 - $85
10-20 min in shared space, basic treatment, minimal customization
Mid Tier
Private Clinic
$120 - $185
30-45 min treatment, sometimes with add-on fees for extra modalities
High Tier (California Mobile Acupuncture)
Concierge In-Home Specialist
$225 - $395
60-minute full-service session, no add-on fees if additional modalities are needed

Packages & Treatment Plans

We offer flexible plans based on your goals and how you prefer to invest in your health:

  • Pay-Per-Session: Ideal for occasional tune-ups or maintenance
  • Series Packages (6–18 sessions): Best for chronic conditions, pain, hormonal or fertility issues, postpartum recovery, stress, digestion, immune balance
  • Membership & Maintenance Plans: Ideal for ongoing wellness, prevention, and long-term balance

We customize your plan to your needs, desired outcomes, and timeline.

Lifetime Cost vs Initial Price

Low-cost treatments that lack depth or fail to offer personalization often end up costing more in the long run. Investing in comprehensive care now can help prevent more expenses on:

  • Additional treatments or therapies
  • Medications
  • Imaging or surgeries
  • Time off work
  • Chronic pain, hormonal issues, or recurring health problems

You can pay now for wellness and transformation or risk paying more later for illness and recovery.

Financing & Payment Options

At California Mobile Acupuncture, we believe that healing shouldn’t be limited by finances. That’s why we offer:

  • HSA / FSA acceptance
  • Discounted treatment packages
  • Flexible payment plans

Typical Investment by Treatment Goal

Over the past decade, insurance reimbursements have dropped, and the demand for holistic care has increased exponentially. Additionally, Concierge Wellness services, such as in-home acupuncture, IV therapy, and concierge physical therapy, have become mainstream.

Consumers are choosing convenience + personalized care over traditional clinics.

To give you an idea of how treatment costs work with our services, here are some examples of popular treatment goals we help patients achieve.
